Ivan is a former higher education administrator, management consultant, and Wharton MBA alumnus. He is a highly sought-after career development coach.
Ivan is the founder of Practice MBA, an educational services firm providing career development, culture and language transition, and academic and professional hard-skills training to newly-admitted business school students.
Prior to offering private career development consulting services, Ivan served in a number of key roles including:
- Director, Career Development Office, Yale School of Management (2009-2012)
- Sr. Associate Director, UPenn Wharton MBA Career Management (2006-2009)
- Associate, Katzenbach Partners (organizational design consulting firm, 2004-2006)
Ivan has also worked for eLease Financial Services, an Idealab!-incubated Silicon Valley start-up, for General Electric’s Litigation and Legal Policy office, and for a molecular medicine and life sciences publication, The FASEB Journal
Ivan holds a joint MBA from The Wharton School and MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins (2005). He was a Fulbright Scholar, earning an MLitt from The University of Auckland in New Zealand (1999), and graduated with a BA in History from Yale (1996).
He lives in Seattle, WA, with his wife and family.
