Pat H. from the Tuck Admissions Office, wrote an interesting post the other day. In short, he was making the case for carefully reading the application instructions for each school. And following them to the letter!
There are two critical reasons why you need to pay attention:
- Applicants who don’t read the instructions carefully miss opportunities; and
- Applicants who don’t read the instructions carefully make mistakes that hurt their changes for admission.
He then gives three compelling examples of why you need to take a few minutes early in your application process and read the instructions. Here is one to get your attention:
