Zainep began her MBA admissions consulting career by chance in 2012 when she supported a friend who needed help applying to Wharton.
When Zainep’s friend was accepted to Wharton and began to tell others about Zainep’s admissions consulting services, Zainep began to support other students with their MBA admissions processes. Zainep found a calling in this space – she enjoys connecting with driven professionals to understand what motivates them professionally and personally, and helping them articulate that vision to admissions officers at top MBA programs.
Academically, Zainep earned her MBA at The Wharton School and has a degree in Economics from Dartmouth College. Professionally, Zainep has nearly a decade of work experience across digital marketing at Google, Inc. to management consulting at McKinsey & Company and most recently running a digital marketing and sales team in the telecom industry.
Zainep is originally from Washington, DC and enjoys attending virtual spin classes (Peloton!), traveling the world with friends, and volunteering with high school seniors each academic year in Philadelphia to support them in their college application processes.

Below are testimonials from just a couple of Zainep’s successful clients:
Accepted into Stanford and BCG (Summer Consultant)
When I applied to business school, I was a non-traditional student that had worked in non-profits and educational organizations. Business school was an opportunity to pivot and accelerate my career, and I sought as much help as I could.
Zainep was one of the key and best resources not only during my application and interview process for Stanford, but also for when I applied to consulting internships in my first-year at business school. For business school, we reviewed my resume and worked out how to translate my work experiences in education into quantifiable and measurable results. I asked for her feedback on my business school essays for both Stanford and Harvard, and she was phenomenal in her insights and how I could use my non-traditional background to my advantage. The benefit of working with Zainep compared to others is that she saw me as a full-person and asked me questions that I would have never asked myself throughout the process.
When I was at Stanford and considered consulting as a summer internship opportunity, Zainep’s experience at McKinsey and as a McKinsey interviewer was critical to my success. Not only was she my biggest cheerleader during the interview cycle, she provided honest feedback of where I fell short and how I could improve. She would have clear next steps (my “homework”) that really made the difference in getting an offer from BCG as a summer consultant intern.
In my opinion, working with Zainep is a clear no-brainer. Not only are you getting the right type of feedback to help get the results that you want, you are getting a person who is truly invested in seeing you succeed.
Accepted into Wharton
I got started a bit late in the application process (2 months before Round 2 deadlines) so I needed someone to guide me through the daunting process. Fortunately, Zainep is extremely efficient, experienced and organized which made the application process much easier to navigate. Despite having an accelerated timeline, Zainep really took the time to understand my background and experiences. She knew exactly what needed to be done to highlight my non-traditional background, and her pragmatic and optimistic attitude kept me focused and on track.
Having a background in Supply Chain/Logistics both my personal statements and resume were detailed but too focused on tasks and responsibilities instead of results. Zainep helped me to effectively frame my experiences and to highlight the most important qualities for each of my six target MBA programs.
In addition, Zainep also assisted with the interview stage – conducting mock interviews with me through Skype and coached me on how to give strong and thoughtful answers. Working with Zainep was amazing and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.
