Omair spent four years in Nigeria working in international development, and before business school, he spent a similar amount of time in China working in pharmaceutical market research. With this diverse and broad experience, he brings a unique outlook and skill set to MBA admissions consulting.
He is comfortable engaging with MBA candidates from all over the world, understands the value of each person’s individual story, and helps clients translate these stories into well thought out, interesting applications.
He has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical sector from his China days, and in the public health and economic growth sectors from his time in Nigeria. Omair is excited to work with MBA candidates coming from these industries before business school, or planning to enter these industries post-graduation; furthermore, he is eager to work with candidates who wish to pursue other career paths, guiding them on how to craft convincing arguments that will pique admissions officers interest.
Omair holds an MBA/MPH from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in economics from the University of Edinburgh.
