Accepted to Columbia Business School

In short, working with Erin was a phenomenal experience. When I first considered a consultant, my main concerns were the costs and the commitment level of the person I would work with. I have a very busy travel schedule and an unconventional background. I needed someone who could organize my experiences and keep me on schedule to complete the best application possible. Erin not only helped me get comfortable with these issues but also consistently went above and beyond what was expected of her. One of our biggest issues was timing. Since I worked out of Asia, many of our discussions and calls had to be made outside of business hours. In addition, because of our limited time frame, Erin needed to work through weekends and holidays. There were many times where I felt I was demanding too much of her time. However, she did what was necessary, without hesitation, and showed a sense of ownership and urgency as if her own application was on the line.

In addition to her dedication, Erin has a keen understanding of the admissions process. This was invaluable as we devised strategies to tackle different aspects of the application, particularly when it came to communicating with students and the admissions committee. Without Erin, I could not have put forward a better application, and she was crucial in my acceptance to Columbia’s MBA program.

Erin is very honest and straightforward when it comes to assessing an applicant’s candidacy. She will never guarantee admission, and she is not afraid to address any holes. She is extremely proficient at identifying weaknesses and will provide clear-cut ways to improve on those deficiencies. I feel very fortunate to have met Erin and whether I was admitted or not, her services were well worth the investment.

Accepted to Columbia Business School, USC, Vanderbilt and Boston College

From the first moment I spoke to Erin during my initial consultation, I knew that she would become an invaluable asset in my MBA journey. Her ability to ask the right questions to get to know me and my goals provided immeasurable help not only in the essay-writing component of the application but also in my own personal development.

Additionally, I had some fairly unique circumstances arise at my job during the time of the application process. Erin went above and beyond her job description and provided me with counsel as an advisor, a mentor, and also a friend. She was always available to answer any questions about the process and provide advice (to the point where I questioned whether she was in fact a robot and did not require sleep). If ever I was feeling bogged down about myself or the process in general (which can be very tough at times!), Erin knew exactly what to say, and advise me on how to proceed in a way that made the process enjoyable and fun. She was always such a pleasure to work with and speak to; her positive energy was infectious; Erin was my constant motivator and cheerleader.

I would recommend Erin to absolutely anyone and without question. She really is the best. Even when the application process was completed, my friends and family would talk about Erin on a first-name basis (as it was apparent how impactful she had been during my MBA application process). Erin’s focus and sincere interest in my success made me feel as though I was her only client. This is one thing about Erin that I cannot express enough – she made me feel special, and I knew that she believed in me and wanted me to succeed. Lastly (and most importantly) – Erin helped channel my own words and experience in order to create application perfection. I was so impressed and proud of my final application, and I think that this is something that every applicant should feel.

With Erin’s help, I was able to get accepted into Columbia, which was the University of my dreams. I am confident that without her help, advice, encouragement, and energy, this would not have been possible. Thank you, Erin!!!

Accepted to Columbia Business School

Erin was nothing short of amazing! I was hesitant at first to utilize consulting services because I’ve had friends with mixed reviews. Erin was worth every penny. Her inside knowledge of Columbia and fantastic editing skills made me so much more confident about applying. She even responded to me while she was on VACATION! She was a true advocate for me. And I know she will be for some other lucky applicants to Columbia and other business schools.

I initially spoke with several consultants before choosing to work with Erin. Of all the consultants I spoke with, Erin was by far the most knowledgeable about specific school requirements and immediately came up with a customized plan of action with regards to a strategy and timeline for applying to my schools of choice (which was not an easy task given that I only had about a month to develop my application and re-take the GMAT).

Erin improved my essays immensely by helping to get my message across to the AdCom more clearly by encouraging me to relay what I gained from each of the stories I told in my essay and to add more details in order to make the essays more compelling. In addition to continuously pushing me to improve my writing, Erin helped me with the entire application process. She prepared me for my interviews and was always available to answer every question, big or small, that I had about the applications — from the short answer questions to the GMAT, to helping me write thank you notes to my interviewers.

She also encouraged me to engage more with the schools I was applying to through contacting professors, students, and attending events, which ultimately provided me with additional material to include in my applications. Ultimately, I was accepted to my first-choice school, and am hugely grateful for all the help Erin provided to get me there!

Accepted to Chicago Booth

Erin provided a lot of great insights on my MBA application process. She’s patient and genuine; I never felt pressured to do something just to make my application look good. It was rather to help me go through a self-reflective process. Erin spent numerous hours on the phone with me, before work and after work to accommodate my busy schedule, to discuss how I could tell my story the best way and in a way that also made me feel comfortable. She went over my resume and essays at least ten times before giving me the green light — unbelievable attention to detail. Finally, I was admitted to my dream school — Chicago Booth. I would like to express my greatest gratitude and my deepest appreciation to Erin.

Accepted to Columbia Business School

Erin was instrumental in shaping my application to deliver a consistent and compelling message about my candidacy to the admission committee at Columbia Business School. What impressed me most about Erin is her honesty and trustworthiness. I highly value these personal qualities and Erin embodies them deeply. She was very candid in her feedback on my essays and in her evaluation of my profile. She was thorough in reviewing my essays and judicious in highlighting the elements of my candidacy that were most pertinent. With Erin on my team, I was confident of succeeding in my endeavor to gain acceptance to a top business school.

Accepted to Oxford Saïd

Working with Erin was instrumental in successfully applying to my MBA. My profile was a challenging one and the results speak for themselves; during the first round of applications, prior to working with Erin, I struck out in my applications. I then realized that I had a challenging file and would benefit from application coaching. After working with Erin I was offered interviews at 4 of the 5 schools I applied to and was admitted to each school I interviewed with.

Erin helped me better understand and present my career goals, background, and strengths and weaknesses. She has a remarkable way of communicating ideas effectively. Erin has an incredible ability to structure thoughts and concepts succinctly, while still conveying them in a powerful manner. Together we developed a strategy that encompassed my background and objectives, and she helped me develop a strong application. Working with Erin not only helped me successfully apply to business school but also changed the way I approach writing and editing.

On a personal basis, I was exceptionally impressed by Erin’s commitment to her craft. She demonstrated tireless determination in helping me achieve my goals. I am aware that my profile was challenging, and I attribute my eventual success to Erin’s support. Erin was always expedient with her communications, and exceptionally accommodating with her time, but never sacrificed quality as a result. Erin was also very approachable with new ideas and questions and provided honest feedback without ever coming across as harsh.

I have and will continue to recommend Erin highly to any of my peers applying to an MBA program.

Accepted to Columbia Business School

Erin is an amazing coach. Since she was on the admission committee of a top business school, she has a perfect understanding of the process and she’s such a nice person that it felt like I was working with a friend. She helped me from the start and it proved invaluable. She helped me prioritize and structure my essays in the best way possible and helped me find the stories that would be most relevant to the admission committee. Once I got invited to the interview, she did a wonderful job at laying the committee’s expectations and identifying the most relevant questions. Thanks to Erin, I got into the school I wanted.

Accepted to Duke Fuqua

I owe my Fuqua offer to Erin and I mean it! I am generally not good at interviews but because of the time I spent practicing with her I was very confident during the real thing and nailed it! Erin helped me structure my responses and pointed out areas where my stories had holes in them. She has a lot of experience and knows the questions a school generally asks and that helped me focus on things that mattered most. During the mock interview, she took a lot of notes and gave me feedback on each question I answered, which ensured I didn’t repeat mistakes during the actual interview. Erin is full of energy and shows enthusiasm when working with candidates, something I really appreciated given my previous experience with admissions consultants. I would strongly recommend her to future candidates!

Accepted to Columbia Business School

To say that Erin was instrumental in my path towards admission into Columbia Business School would be a gross understatement. Not only was she able to push me to compile a thorough and compelling application (through meticulously detailed guidance on the focus of my essays, resume, etc.), but her background as a CBS insider was a priceless asset in helping me understand exactly what type of applicant Columbia is looking for.

And while Erin’s expertise in her field is certainly expansive, she really sets herself apart in her genuine desire to see her clients succeed. Throughout the whole application process, she made me feel as though her sole objective was to help me achieve my dreams of attending CBS.

Accepted to UC Berkeley Haas

I offer my highest possible recommendation for Erin. With her invaluable help, I was able to gain acceptance to one of the most selective business schools in the world at UC Berkeley Haas with a severely challenged undergraduate performance. As a re-applicant, I (painfully) learned the difference between excellent execution on an application strategy versus a mediocre one by myself.

There are thousands of applicants every year to the top MBA programs with similar and stellar GMAT, GPA, and leadership experiences. With even one weakness, it makes it that much more difficult to gain a coveted acceptance. I truly believe working with Erin made the difference by offering invaluable insight on how to tell a compelling narrative, share my values, and shine among similar profiled applicants.

Through her honest feedback, I learned not only about the inner workings of the MBA application process, but also more about myself and my life goals. I felt like I not only gained a professional in my corner through the daunting business school application process but also a friend.

Accepted to Columbia Business School

Erin was extremely knowledgeable about the application process. She helped with my essays and made several suggestions specifically designed to strengthen my candidacy. When added up, these suggestions made a difference between receiving an acceptance letter and a rejection email.

Accepted to UCLA Anderson

Erin gave me important insight into what business schools are looking for in an applicant. She used her knowledge from years of working in the admissions office of a high-profile business school to give me valuable advice on what I needed to improve. With Erin’s help, I was able to gain admission into UCLA Anderson’s MBA program with a generous scholarship. I could not be more satisfied with all the help and support that I received from Erin!
