The MBA Prep School – My Plan toolkit is awesome! I am addicted to the efficiency and the central collection of b-school information. Spent the last hour clicking away! The site is very beneficial for anyone that needs more structure to their schedule (myself included) and would give MBA Prep School a solid competitive advantage.
MBA Prep School student (2011/12 Application Season)
When it came to the moment when I had to actually sit down and apply, I found that I was all over the place. Despite the preparations I’ve already done, MBA Prep School has brought so much value to my application and already I feel much more confident.
MBA Prep School student (2011/12 Application Season)
I’ve been prepping for Bschool for some time– I visited all the top schools, I’ve met with alumni, researched programs in depth, and even kept a running log of my career stories and accomplishments. But because the content and structure has been so helpful, I’ve invested the time to prepare the MBA Prep School way…Also, if you ever get the opportunity to work with Tyler Cormney, prepare to be impressed!

The framework and processes that MBA Prep School’s instructors have built are tremendous. My essays, resume, and interviews all were dramatically improved by incorporating lessons learned using Prep School. The building blocks provided paved the way to my admission to two of my top three choices.

These videos and exercises are incredibly illuminating.
Kellogg Class of 2013
Another great aspect about the MBA Prep School process was that it took me through the whole process and didn’t focus solely on my essays. It started off with assignments that got me thinking about why I wanted to get my MBA, about the different experiences that I’ve had in my life that I can use as part of my essay answers which lead into giving me pointers about how to structure and write my essays.
Wharton Class of 2013
MBA Prep School was a great tool that helped me brainstorm and organize my thoughts as I worked through the application. It was a useful reference to have, and helped me create strong content as the foundation of my essays.
Chicago Class of 2013
My favorite part about MBA Prep School was that these were all lessons online. I was able to do each course at my own pace, instead of the pace dictated by a live class.
Wharton Class of 2013
My job involves working long hours that always varied, which makes it hard to always make it to a class that meets on a daily or even weekly basis. But with the MBA Prep School I was able to do the classes late at night when I got home from work, or during the random free hours that I could find here or there. I was able to set my own schedule and didn’t have to follow someone else’s. That freedom and flexibility made the process easier and preferable.

I am ecstatic right now and have Tyler and MBA Prep School to thank! MBA Prep School’s exercises were extremely beneficial in helping me develop a successful application strategy, identify the themes for my essays, and construct the framework for answers to potential interview questions. The online materials were easy to understand and concise enough to digest quickly, ideal for me when I was in the middle of the hectic application process. I have been accepted to Haas and Ross!
Ross/Michigan Class of 2013
MBA Prep School helped me to quickly craft a business school resume that got me noticed by admissions officers and complemented the personal strengths exhibited in the other parts of my application.
Wharton Class of 2013
MBA Prep School was incredibly helpful in getting me into business school. The lessons on the site, each in a relatively short, digestible form, allowed me to go back and reference tips throughout my preparation. MBA Prep School was particularly useful in organizing my thoughts for my essays and in preparing for my interviews.
Tuck Class of 2013
MBA Prep School provided a framework that helped me craft my career objectives into a succinct, engaging essay that was genuine, unique to me, and helped me distinguish myself from others with similar career aspirations.
Wharton Class of 2013
In one of the toughest years to apply, my application stood out and I received interviews at Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, and Wharton, among others.
Harvard Class of 2011
MBA Prep School walked me through the different steps of the application process, making it a much smoother process than I had expected. I highly recommend using this program if you are thinking about applying to an MBA program.
Wharton Class of 2013
The module on proving you qualify was perfect for framing my story and helped me to understand the key questions in that part of the interview. The proving you fit module helped me select which stories to tell to the different MBA programs at which I’ll be interviewing.
Kellogg Class of 2013
MBA Prep School doesn’t only have the lessons for students to benefit from; they also have a daily blog with helpful tips and hints for applicants. As I didn’t always have the time to do the research myself, it was great to be able to go to one central place and know that all of the important information that top MBA schools were releasing to applicants would be there and easily accessible.
Wharton Class of 2013
The MBA Prep School Admissions Interviewing Series was a terrific way to prepare for business school interviews. They helped me get organized, and I felt completely prepared to wow my interviewers. I especially appreciated the tips and examples of how to tell my stories effectively and the STAR framework. Thank you!
Kellogg Class of 2013
An added bonus were the lessons on how to prepare for the interview with Wharton after I had gotten the invitation. The lessons not only gave me pointers on how to structure and think about my answers, but they also clues and hints as to how to research the school in order to make my case that much more appealing during the interview.
Wharton Class of 2013
The interviews prep tools MBA Prep School offered helped me to quickly and efficiently prepare for my interviews in the narrow time frame I was allotted by my schools. I was able to work through general interview prep, school specific prep and identify and overcome personal interview weaknesses all in the matter of a few short days.
